And now we welcome the New Year.

Full of things that have never been.”

– Rainer Maria Rilke, Bohemian-Austrian poet and novelist

Congratulations you’ve made it to 2017 –a brand new year!

Hopefully you are rested from time off over the holidays – and have a crystal clear plan to make 2017 your best year yet. (And if you haven’t mapped out your goals, I recommend our 2016 Review/2017 Planning Tool

Now most people think that starting the New Year off with a bang means a great celebration with friends and family – which is wonderful – but I want you to look at it differently:

I want you to look at your goals for this Year, and see how you can achieve 25% of your single most important annual goal by the end of January – the next 3 weeks.

I’ve noticed that people often take a logical, linear approach to achieving their goals. They do a little each month, and hope to get there by the end of the year.

And, I see is that that January is often considered a slow month in most industries – almost like a casual month – where not much gets done. So I challenge you to take advantage of that, and use the time to make a tremendous progress on what matters most.

Coach Kevin’s Challenge

  • Pick your single most important goal for the year
  • Figure out how can you get done what you normally would by the end of the first quarter
  • Get that single goal done by the end of January.

Let me know how you do – and Happy New Year!
